A LAGOON ECOSYSTEM BETWEEN REFLECTIONS OF SKY AND SEA

A walk-through history: the Via dei Forti
An open-air museum complex brings back to its former glory fortifications and batteries that defended the territory of the Venice Lagoon in the period 1845-1920.
A path through history that brings together the beautiful surrounding lagoon landscape and offers a valuable testimony in our Resort.
Batteria Radaelli, in fact, is a small museum located just inside St. Paul’s, which becomes the scene of unique culinary events when needed.
Bicycle touring in Cavallino-Treporti
The Cavallino-Treporti Tourist Park offers incredible sights and safe and pleasant bike paths.
Discovering the historic villages and fortifications, or on the brand-new bike and pedestrian path cantilevering over the lagoon, you can regenerate yourself with a truly unforgettable bike ride by renting your bike directly at the resort.
Strips of land suspended over water: the nature of Lio Piccolo
Lio Piccolo is a true micro ecosystem that offers breathtaking glimpses of nature. Islets, lagoons, salt marshes, follow one another in an endless change of perspectives and landscapes. It is the ideal place to take serene walks or relaxing bike rides, thanks to the dense network of bike paths and the absence of traffic.
A place of peace to live and breathe. The hike to this precious place is especially impressive in spring, when the flora and fauna awaken, or in autumn, when they are preparing for the cold months, temperatures are milder and the summer chaos is only a distant memory.

Starting at km 0
Strolling among the stalls and buying local products or some summer clothing is an opportunity not to be missed, thanks to the weekly markets held along the coast:
every Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., via Equilia, Cavallino;
every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., farmer’s market, Piazza Papa Giovanni Paolo II Square, Ca’Savio;
every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Piazza S.S. Trinità, Treporti.
Not just Venice: the thousand faces of the Lagoon
Conveniently accessible from the Village, Punta Sabbioni is the extreme tip of the peninsula that hosts Cavallino-Treporti and from which Venice is only a 30-minute boat ride away. It is a sight to reach this magical city from the water.
However, it is equally incredible to discover the thousands of pearls that the Venice Lagoon has to offer: the colors of Burano, the history of Torcello, the charm of Murano’s creations and the unspoiled nature of Sant’Erasmo. You just must decide what you want to find out today. Experience Venice and its islands year-round, carnival and Venetian traditions!
